The No BS Fat Loss Coach
I’m Adam and I’m a No BS fat loss coach originally from the US, and I’ve been living in Canada since 2015. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a focus in Nutrition (double major) from the University of New Mexico, and I completed the master’s coursework in Exercise Science at Concordia University before realizing that research wasn’t my passion.
I couldn’t be stuck in a dark lab, sifting through mountains of data every day; I didn’t fit into a world where I couldn’t be active and creative. But first, to understand the turn that my life took, we have to go back in time to when I had no idea what I was doing - personally, professionally, or with my fitness...
Not so long ago, I found myself in a similar position to the one you might be in today:I was overweight, uncomfortable taking off my shirt around other people, and I struggled to fit into the clothes I liked. I was ESPECIALLY self-conscious around other guys who were in much better shape than I was…I felt bad about myself and guilty that I wasn’t doing more to look like them.
After all, they could eat burgers and chips, and drink beer after beer and still have abs…While I tried countless programs and avoided the foods they seemed to be able to eat an unlimited amount of, yet I didn’t have anywhere NEAR the physique they had. I thought that my busy schedule and social life left little time for maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and I felt like I was losing control over my fitness and well-being.
All I could think about was how things would be different when my life calmed down a little bit, and how I’d make the perfect plan when I had the extra time…And it was driving me INSANE.
To no one's surprise, I never found the “extra” time. There was a time when I was a fat little kid and I couldn't find clothes to fit me, but for most of my teenage and young adult life, I was skinny fat.
In other words, I was neither fat nor skinny, but I had an awkward shape that caused me to be self conscious - both with and without clothes.
So, I decided to do something about it: Between my extensive university education in nutrition and exercise science and my own trial and error, I finally found what worked for my hectic lifestyle. I focused on sustainable habits, time-efficient workouts, and balanced, yet flexible meals that I could easily maintain even with a demanding job, social life, and my need for quiet downtime.
I didn’t need to find the extra time; I needed to make better use of the time I had and realize just how much of it I was wasting on things that weren’t getting me any closer to my goals. Today, my life has transformed completely. I feel confident in my own skin, whether I'm at work, out with friends, or at the pool or beach.
I've built a physique I'm proud of, increased my strength, and improved my overall health. I no longer dread social gatherings or vacations because I know I look and feel my best, and that’s something I thought would never be possible for me. Achieving my fitness goals wasn't as difficult as it seemed once I had the right plan and support, which were two important components I was missing.
I went through years of struggling and spent thousands of dollars on my education so you don’t have to. In addition to my extensive university education, I also completed a year of science-based courses to earn a personal training certification, and I’ve been working with clients, both in and outside the gym since 2015.
If I can go from a chubby college student who ate junk and drank all the time, had disorganized training and no clear goals, and who felt fat next to his friends…
To a fitness professional who drinks and eats good food whenever he wants, maintains his weight, regularly increases his strength and muscle mass, and who feels confident next to his friends who now ask HIM for fitness help…
There’s hope for you to make a few improvements that will completely alter the trajectory of your life. I make it sound easy…it’s not. It’s very simple, but that’s why most people get it wrong. I’ve always been someone who wants to do everything on my own, figure out my own problems, and never ask for help…
And that’s exactly why I struggled for as long as I did. I mentioned earlier that my passion wasn’t in boring research in a depressing lab with no windows.
My passion lies in helping guys like my old self avoid wasting any amount of their lives running around in circles like a hamster while still not seeing the results they want. I love saving guys like my old self so much time and headache that they thank me for helping them realize what they’re capable of.
John here was one of those guys, and, years later, he still thanks me for helping him see what he was capable of. A thank you is never necessary, though. I’m here to help you reach your true potential and to become the person I know you can be.
It’s your turn to be the friend that has it all figured out. You deserve it!
